Very convenient location with plenty of options to offer and the most helpful staff, but the high prices wane in comparison to Walmart.
Was a very warm day this August decided to go for an ice cap inside Safeway store and look at recipe ingredients I needed. Barista gentleman was so friendly, and charming. I was thoroughly disappointed to find out I couldn't research my recipe on Pinterest because this store has no WiFi. So in the future I will shop coop where they have wifi and keep current.
Yesterday was my very first time at this location, nice clean store but was less then impressed with the lady in the bakery department ... I was looking at the baked goods and wanted to know if there was dairy in something as there are NO ingredients listed on there products so I went to ask as she couldn't tell me for sure and refused to go look in the ingredients book. Other safeways have no problem doing this for me as it's a allergy I'm looking into. So needless to say I put all groceries back and went to another safeway and got the help I needed... Thanks bakery lady for the bad experience....
I don't shop for groceries too often, so when I do I need to ask for directions. The staff is always very helpful and will walk you to where you need to go. I find that can get in and out quite quickly. It's never too busy and it's easy to access just off of Crowchild
I have been to this Safeway many times over the years whenever i work in the area as it is close to the Ctrain & a liquor store. Very Clean. Decent Place. Always been a fan of Safeway. Only one scale in the store though and that's at produce. When i mentioned perhaps there should be one near the bulk section i was told that the self checkout i was at was cash only. I said just becuz i cant find a scale at the bulk section doesn't mean I cant read. I laughed. I would have gotten more of those chocolate covered cashews had i known the weight....
